    I love your story and your outlook on life and how you are striving for financial freedom. I understand when you said that it was hard listening that others were getting deals within thirty months. I was right there with you. I began my real estate investing path listening to Flip2Freedom with Sean Terry and was hooked. I had no money, terrible credit, and no direction. Then I found the Flip2Freedom podcast and learned how to wholesale a house. I sent out letters, posted bandit signs, started online marketing. It took me about 6 months to get my first deal but took another 6mo to sell it.

    My story began when my wife and I moved to AZ with no Job. The unemployment lead to getting 10K in credit card debt and fighting each month just to pay the rent. I felt uncapable and not like the man I wanted to be that could support my wife and bring security to her. I would wake up around 5 in the morning to go get in line at this daily work place in hopes of getting a job for the day so I could put food on the table. I would refurnish furniture that I would buy at garage sales and then post them on craiglist.

    By Gods grace a friend at church told me about Raytheon (defense contractor) who was hiring. I was prior Army and was blessed to get a position. I was finally able to pay my bills hwoever, with that came me working 12hour shifts, waking up at 4:30am, and working about 65 hrs a week. I still have this job and now have done two CAs and a seller finance flip. My marketing would come and go as the money came and go because of medical bills that seem to never end. However, I would focus on this quote.

    “If you refuse to Quit, You can not Fail.”

    My vision for my family has grown from when I first started. To get on a real level hear. My wife and I have been married for 4 yrs now and have no Kids. Not by choice though. My wife was diagnoised with PCOS in which made it impossible for her to convieve without help. Because of the desease it makes her feel uncomplete as a woman. It was very hard for me to see this hurt that she would carry. Well, with the blessing of my job at Raytheon and the insurance it provides and with the money I have made from the few deals I have done we were able to afford the IVF (fertility) treatment and the other ay I got to see an ultrasound of our miracle baby.

    So yes my vision has grown because my family has grown. My vision is to create a legacy to where my kids will not know the hardship that my wife and I have gone through financially. My vision is to effect peoples lives in a positive way creating solutions for sellers who can not sell and creating oppurtunities for buyers who can not buy. To give my wife and kids the experience of traveling the world and seeing where Christ walked on this earth.

    Real estate is the vehicle for me and eventhough I have no deals in the pipeline now, I am excited excited about life because I know that I can not fail if I refuse to quit.

    Well, thought I’d give an update:

    With Todd’s help, my business is really starting to take off. I have averaged 2 deals per month, but now am seeing 3-4 per month with potential for more. I just collected a $15k check, and also have 2 more in the works totaling $11k in profits !

    I am very grateful for have finding this business. There is no other business that even compares!
    Think about this: You can purchase a course (business in a box, if you will), for less than $1000 easily… and listen great podcasts such as this one! What are the initial investments for other businesses? Degrees..licenses, start up loans, franchise fees, minimum investments, asset requirements, years of experience, franchise approvals, etc….

    The amazing thing is that they are all free, because we all have these traits within ourselves. All we must do is dig deep within to find them.
